South Jefferson High School Presents "Hello Dolly"
The South Jefferson High School production of "Hello Dolly" will take place March 15 and 16 in the HIgh School Auditorium, 11060 US Route 11 Adams NY.
Hello Dolly, the 1964 musical, with lyrics and music by Jerry Herman and book by Michael Stewart follows the story of Dolly Gallagher Levi. Dolly is known for her fast talking nonsense, and calls herself a matchmaker. She travels to Yonkers, New York, to find a match for the irritable, unmarried, half-a-millionaire, Horace Vandergelder.
The cast includes Kaley Wagner as Dolly Levi, Hannah Mills as Ernestina Money, Jacob Whalen as Ambrose Kemper, Ethan Stinson as Horace Vandergelder, Mikayla Matteson as Ermengarde, Colby Randall as Cornelius Hackl, Andrew Sullivan as Barnaby Tucker, Laura Fowler as Mrs. Sunday, Cassandra G. Johnson as Minnie Fay, Abigail Hulbert as Irene Molloy, Hannah McNamara as Mrs. Rose and Ben Paroubek as Rudolph Reisenweber. Ensemble cast includes Jayden Allison, Carlie Beyette, Kaitlyn Bisig, Allison Bradberry, Lillian Bresee,Zachary Castor, Maddy Chamberlain, Doreen Harvey, Morgan Keeney, Caleb Landry, Emma LaRose, Megan Manton, Claire McNamara, Ethan Phillips, Landen Snyder, Justyn St. Croix, and Laina Wheeler. Dancers are Drew Paluch, Lia Tyrell, Annika VanWormer, and Olivia VanWormer. Student Orchestra musicians include Abigail Wishcherath and Holly Young. Stage crew includes Abigail Piddock and Paul Fairchild.
There are 3 shows: Friday March 15 at 7PM, Saturday March 16 at 2PM and 7PM. Tickets are $7. There will be a chicken and biscuit “Harmonia Gardens” luncheon on Saturday March 16 at 12:30. The cost is $5 per person. Take out or eat in and meet the cast! For more information contact 315-232-4531.
