Backpacks for Success: Waite Toyota and Kids In Need Foundation support Mannsville Elementary

Mannsville Manor Elementary School was recently gifted 204 backpacks filled with essential school supplies, thanks to Waite Toyota and the Kids In Need Foundation.
“Our school is thrilled to accept this charitable donation,” said Principal Jim Pelton. “These backpacks will be distributed to students in need throughout our district, helping ensure they continue the school year prepared and supported.”
Since 2022, Toyota dealerships across the country have partnered with the Kids In Need Foundation to make sure students have the tools they need to learn. Through the inaugural Big Summer Giveback program, Toyota dealerships nationwide have contributed more than $3.5 million to under-resourced schools, supporting equitable learning environments.
As part of this program, local dealerships like Waite Toyota have provided between 200–400 backpacks filled with supplies to schools in their communities. These investments value between $5,000 and $10,000.
This initiative reinforces Waite Toyota’s commitment to supporting local students and ensuring they have every opportunity to thrive in the classroom.
