We are pleased to announce that Sarah Carpenter has been appointed as the new Assistant Principal at South Jefferson High School. She brings a wealth of experience, a strong commitment to student success, and a deep belief in the importance of fostering a positive, inclusive school culture.

Sarah Carpenter has been an administrator at General Brown School District for the past three years as the district's Curriculum Coordinator. Mrs. Carpenter brings 22 years of educational experience to the High School Assistant Principal position. She is a graduate of SUNY Oswego (BS/CAS) and SUNY Potsdam University (MS). Mrs. Carpenter holds certifications in Elementary Education, Literacy Education and Building and District Leadership.

Mrs. Carpenter lives in Watertown with her husband and two children and three step children and enjoys reading and traveling.
