The students and advisors of South Jeff have stepped up to help raise money for the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.

Dianna Johnson and Rebecca Dalrymple are walking in the Susan G. Komen 3-day, 60 mile walk in Cleveland, Ohio on August 22-24, 2008. With that commitment, the daunting tasks of raising $2,200 each comes. Faculty advisors and student groups are sponsoring the following fundraising events.

• 1st Annual Arbor Day Walk-A-Thon: Sponsored by the Junior Class
• Annual faculty Basketball Game: Sponsored by the Senior Class
• Buy a Ribbon, Save a Life: sponsored by the Freshman Class and NJHS. The top seller is Michael White

• Congratulations to the Class of 2008 Honor Graduates.

• While most people are still asleep, our very own Ryan Sanders is (literally) running the streets of Adams Center as he delivers newspapers on his route. It's usually pitch dark and this hardworking young man is out working already! It's refreshing to see the positive energy and spirit that Ryan displays.
